This rectangular wall mirror frameless in construction swaps a traditional frame for a layered, stepped border of bevelled mirror panels — clean-lined yet full of character. Part of our Lingport Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our living room and hallway customers.
Design & Materials
Rather than a wooden or metal surround, the border is built from three tiers of bevelled mirror strips set at precise right angles, creating a geometric, receding-frame effect. Each strip catches ambient light along its angled edge, producing subtle silver highlights that shift as you move around the room. The central glass is also bevelled, giving a refined finish from every angle. Behind the mirror sits a hardwood backing board lined with black felt to protect your wall surface and add stability. The overall aesthetic leans art deco — structured, symmetrical, and quietly glamorous — while remaining pared-back enough for modern or minimalist interiors. In our experience, this style of all-mirror border is one of the most versatile: it picks up the tones of whatever surrounds it, so it integrates effortlessly with both warm and cool colour palettes.
Size & Placement
Measuring 90 cm high, 60 cm wide, and just 2 cm deep, this frameless rectangular mirror occupies a practical middle ground — generous enough to open up a room, yet compact enough to avoid overwhelming a smaller wall. At 90 cm tall, it sits neatly above a hallway console, sideboard, or mantelpiece without dominating the surrounding décor. Hung in landscape orientation, it becomes a wide, cinematic panel ideal above a sofa or bed headboard. The flat base also means you can lean it on a shelf or mantelpiece for a more relaxed, layered look. Customers tend to pair this with clean-lined furniture and neutral walls, though the all-mirror finish adapts comfortably to bolder schemes and works as striking decorative wall art in dining rooms or boutique hotel lobbies.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes fitted with four D-loops on the back — two positioned for portrait hanging, two for landscape — so you can choose your preferred orientation straight away. Position your wall screws to align with the centre of the corresponding D-loops, then hang the mirror directly onto them. Do not use string, wire, or chain, as these can shift and unsettle the mirror. At 10 kg, it is manageable for one person to lift into place, but a second pair of hands is always helpful for lining up the fixings accurately. Use wall plugs and screws rated for your wall type: solid masonry fixings for brick or stone, and appropriate cavity fixings for stud or plasterboard walls. Screws and rawl plugs are not included.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
