Classical glamour, refined for modern rooms
This round gold ornate mirror pairs a generous 100 cm diameter with fine decorative detailing that lifts it beyond a standard circular wall mirror. A steady performer in our Wall Mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for traditional warmth with a touch of glamour.
Design & Materials
The steel frame is finished in a warm, satin-sheen gold tone that catches the light without appearing brassy. Running the full circumference is a finely textured beaded border — small, uniform raised dots that add tactile interest and a subtle vintage quality. Crowning the top is a decorative crest featuring a central palmette flanked by scrollwork and floral rosettes, all cast in the same gold finish. We recommend this style when you want ornate detail that reads as elegant rather than heavy. The glass is clear and unembellished — no bevel — so the full surface is usable reflection within the slim 4 cm frame. A solid plastic sheet backing keeps weight manageable at 10 kg.
Size & Placement
At 100 cm in both height and width (plus a few extra centimetres for the crown above), this gold round wall mirror sits comfortably in the medium-to-large bracket — substantial enough to anchor a wall, yet not so oversized that it dominates a standard room. In our experience, a gold metal round mirror of this scale works beautifully centred above a mantelpiece or hallway console, where the circular silhouette contrasts with straight furniture lines beneath. It suits bedrooms equally well — positioned above a chest of drawers, it opens up the space while the warm frame ties in with brass or gold-toned hardware. The finish pairs naturally with muted palettes — soft greys, blush tones, deep teals — and holds its own against richer schemes like navy or forest green.
Hanging & Installation
Designed for portrait-only wall hanging, the mirror comes fitted with a single keyhole bracket on the top rail at the back. Drive a suitable screw into your wall and hook the keyhole over it — no wire, string, or chain is needed or recommended. At 10 kg, two people can lift it comfortably into position while one marks the fixing point. On solid masonry a standard screw and rawl plug will do the job; on plasterboard or stud walls, use cavity fixings rated for the weight. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included — choose fixings suited to your wall type.
