This round gold wall mirror pairs a clean circular shape with a slim brushed gold frame, creating a piece that feels contemporary yet warm. A steady performer in our Wall Mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for a simple, elegant gold accent.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel with a brushed gold finish that catches the light with a soft, slightly textured sheen rather than a high-gloss shine. Up close, fine linear brush marks are visible across the surface, giving it an understated character that works well in both modern and industrial-leaning interiors. The frame profile is narrow — approximately 2.5 cm wide — keeping the emphasis on the mirror glass itself. A wood-based backing board adds rigidity and helps protect the glass from behind. The mirror glass is clear and unembellished, without a bevelled edge, which keeps the overall look pared back and contemporary.
Size & Placement
At 80 cm in diameter and just 2 cm deep, this gold round mirror sits comfortably in small to medium wall spaces without dominating. It works particularly well above a console table or sideboard in a hallway, where the circular shape breaks up the horizontal lines of the furniture below. In a living room, try positioning it on the wall opposite a window — we often suggest this for rooms that need a lift of natural light bounced back into the space. It also makes a handsome addition above a bedroom chest of drawers. If you favour decorative gold wall mirrors but want something restrained rather than ornate, this is a shape we reach for — the slim frame keeps it feeling modern and unfussy. It pairs naturally with warm timber tones, matte black hardware, and neutral palettes.
Hanging & Installation
This mirror comes fitted with four D-loops on the back of the frame, positioned so you can hang it in your preferred orientation. Position your wall screws to line up with the centre of the corresponding D-loops, then hang the mirror directly — do not use string, wire, or chain. At 10 kg, it is manageable for one person to lift, but having a second pair of hands to check alignment while you mark your fixings is always worthwhile. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings appropriate for your wall type: standard rawl plugs and screws for solid masonry, or suitable plasterboard fixings for stud walls.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
