Built for the garden, loved indoors too
This round wall mirror white frame brings a bright, architectural quality to any space it occupies. A recent addition to our Exmouth Collection range, it draws on classic window-pane styling and pairs it with a contemporary white finish that sits comfortably against both neutral and richly coloured walls.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel, powder-coated in a smooth, matte white finish that feels clean and modern without being stark. Nine individual mirror panes sit within a grid of slim metal glazing bars — two vertical and two horizontal — creating the illusion of a circular porthole or cottage window. We often suggest this style for spaces that need architectural interest without the visual weight of a heavier ornate frame. The glass is clear and un-bevelled, giving crisp, undistorted reflections across each pane. A plastic sheet backing board protects the rear, and the overall profile is just 2 cm deep, so the mirror holds close to the wall.
Size & Placement
At 100 cm in diameter, this is a generous round white wall mirror that makes a genuine impact without overwhelming a room. Indoors, it works beautifully above a sofa, sideboard, or console table — the kind of piece that anchors a wall and opens up a space with reflected light. Hung above a mantelpiece, the circular silhouette contrasts nicely with the straight lines of the shelf beneath. Because the mirror is rated for both indoor and outdoor use, it is equally effective mounted on a garden wall or courtyard fence, where it bounces greenery and sky back into the space. In our experience, white-framed garden mirrors pair especially well with climbing plants or rendered walls, giving the impression of a window where none exists. At 10 kg, the mirror has substance but remains manageable for two people to position.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror has two keyhole fixings on the back, so you simply hook it onto two screws driven into the wall at the correct spacing. There is no need for wire, string, or chain — and these should not be used with this mirror. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; choose fixings appropriate for your wall type. For masonry or brick, standard rawl plugs and screws will do the job. For plasterboard or stud walls, use cavity fixings rated to carry at least 10 kg. We recommend marking both screw positions with a spirit level before drilling, as the keyhole slots need to be precisely aligned for the mirror to hang level.
