Where architecture meets reflection
This full length wall mirror gold trim design makes an immediate impression, thanks to a distinctive split-frame construction that sets it apart from conventional rectangular mirrors. A steady performer in our full length mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for something modern yet sculptural — it brings both light and visual depth to any space it occupies.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel with a warm, matte gold powder-coated finish that reads as quietly luxurious without veering into ostentation. Rather than a single continuous surround, the outer frame splits along both vertical sides, creating an off-centre floating effect where the inner rectangle sits slightly inset within a wider open border. The result is an architectural profile — almost like a doorway or window frame — that gives the piece genuine sculptural presence even before you notice the reflection. The mirror glass is clear and unembellished, with no bevel, allowing the frame geometry to do the talking. A plastic sheet backing board keeps everything protected from behind, making this gold wall full length mirror suitable for sheltered outdoor settings as well as interior walls.
Size & Placement
At 200 cm tall and 90 cm wide, this is an extra-large full length gold wall mirror that commands attention. In a hallway, it works beautifully leaned against a wall at a slight angle — the flat bottom edge sits flush on the floor, and the tall, narrow proportions draw the eye upward, making low ceilings feel loftier. Wall-mounted in portrait orientation in a bedroom or dressing area, it provides a generous head-to-toe reflection. Flip it to landscape above a console table or sideboard and you have a striking overmantle alternative. Outdoors, we often suggest this for a south- or west-facing garden wall where it will catch afternoon light and mirror planting — a shape we reach for when the goal is to add perceived depth to a smaller courtyard or patio. The slim 3 cm depth keeps the profile neat against the wall, and at 2.5 cm wide, the frame lines stay refined rather than bulky.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror is fitted with four keyhole fixings on the back, giving you the flexibility to hang it in either portrait or landscape orientation. Position your wall screws to align with the centre of each keyhole, then hook the mirror on — straightforward, but at 25 kg you will want a second pair of hands to lift and place it. For solid masonry walls, standard rawl plugs and screws (not included) will do the job; for stud or plasterboard walls, use appropriate heavy-duty fixings rated for at least 30 kg to give yourself a comfortable margin. Do not use string, wire, or chain — the keyhole system is designed for direct-to-wall mounting. If you plan to lean the mirror rather than hang it, ensure it rests on a level surface and consider a small anti-slip pad beneath each foot to keep it in place.
