Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This full length mirror extra large in stature and bold in design pairs a clean rectangular glass with a distinctive twin-bar gold steel frame. A steady performer in our Full Length Mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for a modern gold mirror that works both inside and outdoors.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel finished in a warm, satin-effect gold tone — not a high-shine brass, but a softer gilded hue that sits comfortably alongside both contemporary and transitional décor. Two parallel vertical bars run the full height of the mirror on each side, connected by a single bar across the top and bottom. This twin-bar detail gives the piece an open, architectural quality; you can see the wall through the narrow gaps between the bars, which prevents the frame from looking heavy despite its generous proportions. The mirror glass is clear and unembellished — no bevel — keeping the overall aesthetic modern and pared-back. A plastic sheet backing board protects the rear, and the construction feels robust at 18 kg, lending the piece a reassuring solidity.
Size & Placement
At 180 cm tall and 80 cm wide, this is a large gold mirror full length enough to give a head-to-toe reflection with ease. In our experience, a rectangular full length wall mirror at this scale works best where you can stand at least a metre back — an end-of-hallway wall, a bedroom wall opposite the bed, or a spacious landing. The flat bottom edge means it can also lean against a wall as a floor-standing piece if you prefer a relaxed, gallery-style look. Because this mirror is rated for outdoor use, it suits garden walls beautifully — propped against weathered brick or hung on a sheltered fence, it opens up smaller courtyard spaces by reflecting greenery and sky. Pair the warm gold frame with dark charcoal walls for a full length modern wall mirror statement, or set it against pale plaster and natural wood for a lighter, Scandi-meets-luxe feel.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes fitted with four keyhole fixings on the back, allowing you to hang it in either portrait or landscape orientation. Position your wall screws to line up with the centre of each corresponding keyhole, then hook the mirror on. At 18 kg this is a two-person job — we recommend having someone steady the frame while you align the keyholes. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings appropriate for your wall type: standard rawl plugs and screws for solid masonry, or heavy-duty plasterboard fixings for stud walls.
