This frameless pebble-shaped piece is one of the most distinctive unusual mirrors in our range. Its organic, asymmetric silhouette turns a simple mirror into genuine decorative wall art — a shape we reach for when customers want something that feels sculptural without overwhelming a space. A steady performer in our Wall Mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for something beyond the ordinary.
Design & Materials
The mirror has no visible frame; instead, the glass itself is cut into a smooth, irregular pebble or teardrop shape with gently flowing curves. Viewed from the side, you can see a slim black-finished backing that gives the edge a subtle dark outline, adding just enough definition against a coloured wall without introducing a traditional frame profile. The glass is clear and un-bevelled, keeping the look clean and modern. Behind the reflective surface sits a hardwood backing board finished in a plastic veneer, which keeps the overall weight to a manageable 6 kg while providing a rigid, flat base for secure wall mounting. The result is an art mirror that sits almost flush to the wall, letting the shape do all the talking.
Size & Placement
At 76 cm tall and 50 cm wide, this is a small-to-medium piece that works beautifully as a focal point without dominating the wall. Hung in portrait, the teardrop silhouette naturally draws the eye upward — ideal above a console table in a hallway or beside a statement armchair in a living room. Flip it to landscape and the form becomes broader and more pebble-like, perfect for a feature wall or above a sideboard. Because the shape is irregular, it pairs effortlessly with other decorative wall mirrors for a curated gallery arrangement. If your décor leans modern or mid-century, the clean frameless profile slots right in; equally, the organic outline softens minimalist schemes that might feel too stark with a standard rectangular mirror. At only 2 cm deep, it barely projects from the wall, so it suits narrower spaces such as landings and corridors without catching elbows.
Hanging & Installation
This mirror comes fitted with four D-loops on the back, positioned so you can hang it in either portrait or landscape orientation — giving you flexibility to experiment before committing. Position your wall screws to line up with the centre of the corresponding D-loops, then hang the mirror directly. Do not use string, wire, or chain. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings suited to your wall type: standard plugs and screws for masonry, or toggle fixings for plasterboard. At 6 kg the mirror is light enough for one person to lift into place, though having a second pair of hands to check alignment is always helpful.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
