Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This arch mirror full length pairs a classic gothic window silhouette with a weathered cream metal frame, creating an eye-catching focal point wherever you place it. Part of our Selworthy Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our garden and hallway customers.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel with a soft cream, lightly distressed finish that allows warm undertones to show through — a look that sits comfortably alongside shabby chic, vintage, and rustic décor. Twin lancet arches rise to a pointed apex, joined by a circular motif where they meet, closely echoing the tracery of a gothic church window. Each section holds clear mirror glass, while a plastic sheet backing board keeps everything protected from behind. The frame profile is slender — roughly 2.5 cm wide — so the emphasis stays on the graceful window proportions rather than the surround. We often suggest this for customers drawn to decorative window mirrors but looking for something with more height and presence than a standard arch wall mirror.
Size & Placement
At 150 cm tall and 81 cm wide, this is a genuine full-length arch wall mirror — tall enough to reflect greenery and sky when mounted on a garden wall, and large enough to serve as a full-length mirror in a hallway or bedroom. The flat bottom means it can also lean securely against a wall if you prefer not to fix it permanently. Outdoors, it works beautifully on a brick or rendered wall behind a seating area, reflecting light and planting to make a smaller garden feel more open. Indoors, position it above a console table in an entrance hall or on a feature wall in a living room. The cream finish pairs well with natural wood furniture, stone tones, and other shabby chic or vintage pieces. At 4 cm deep and 20 kg in weight, it has genuine substance without feeling overly bulky.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror has two keyhole fixings on the back — one on each side — so you simply hook it onto a pair of screws already set in your wall. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; choose fixings suited to your wall type (masonry anchors for brick or stone, appropriate toggles or fixings for stud walls). At 20 kg, we recommend a two-person lift when positioning the mirror, and it is worth double-checking that both screws are level before hanging to ensure the pointed arch sits true.
