Built for the garden, beautiful indoors
This black full length window mirror draws on the graceful lines of Gothic church windows — a pointed arch topped with a circular tracery detail, flanked by twin arched panes below. Part of our Selworthy Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our garden and living-room customers. At 150 × 81 cm, it delivers real presence without the bulk of a floor-standing piece, and the steel construction means it sits happily outdoors as well as in.
Design & Materials
The frame is crafted from steel with a distressed black finish that reveals subtle warm undertones — hints of bronze and dark gold that catch the light and give the mirror an aged, architectural quality. In our experience, this kind of weathered patina works well against both neutral render and darker painted walls. The frame profile is gently rounded and approximately 2.5 cm wide, keeping the emphasis on the window-pane silhouette rather than the border itself. Three separate mirror panels sit behind the tracery bars: a circular section at the top and two tall arched panels below, each fitted with clear, non-bevelled glass. A plastic sheet backing board adds rigidity and weather protection, making this a genuinely outdoor-suitable arch mirror.
Size & Placement
At 150 cm tall and 81 cm wide, this is a full-length black wall mirror that suits a wide range of settings. Outdoors, mount it on a garden wall or fence to create the illusion of a second doorway framed by foliage — the reflective surface bounces greenery and sky, making even a compact courtyard feel more open. Indoors, the flat bottom edge means you can lean it against a wall in a hallway, living room, or dining space for an effortless look. It also works mounted above a console table or sideboard, where the arch breaks up a long, flat wall and draws the eye upward. If you have a large full-length mirror already handling practical duties in a bedroom, this piece adds decorative impact elsewhere. The gothic window-pane design pairs naturally with industrial, rustic, and period-style interiors, but its dark, clean lines sit comfortably in more contemporary schemes too.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes with two keyhole fixings on the back — one on each side — so you simply hook it onto screws driven into your wall. At 20 kg, we recommend a two-person lift when positioning. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; choose fixings suited to your wall type (solid masonry, brick, or timber stud). For outdoor use on a garden wall, stainless-steel or weather-rated screws will prevent corrosion over time. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror — the keyhole slots provide a secure, flush mount that keeps it stable in the wind.
