Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This gold pill mirror full length is a clean, contemporary piece that brings effortless warmth to both interior and exterior spaces. A steady performer in our full length mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for a modern gold-framed design that works year-round.
Design & Materials
The capsule — or pill — shape is defined by two perfectly matched arches joined by straight parallel sides, giving it a softer, more refined profile than a standard rectangular mirror. The frame is constructed from steel finished in a warm, brushed gold tone with a subtle satin lustre. At roughly 2.5 cm wide, the frame is slim enough to keep the focus on the generous mirror glass yet substantial enough to read as a deliberate design element rather than a thin afterthought. The glass itself is clear and un-bevelled, delivering a crisp, undistorted reflection. A plastic sheet backing board protects the rear, secured by evenly spaced metal clips around the perimeter. We recommend this shape when you want the elongating effect of a full-length arch mirror without the sharp corners — it pairs particularly well with modern and mid-century interiors, brass tap ware, or gold-toned lighting fixtures.
Size & Placement
At 180 cm tall and 60 cm wide, this is a genuinely large gold mirror full length in proportion — tall enough for a head-to-toe view while remaining narrow enough for tighter wall spaces. The 2 cm depth keeps it close to the wall for a neat, flush appearance. Indoors, it sits comfortably in a hallway, bedroom, or dressing area; hung above a console table or beside a wardrobe, it adds light and visual space without crowding the room. Because it is rated for outdoor use, this gold arch full length mirror is equally at home mounted on a garden wall, fence, or outbuilding. In our experience, a garden mirror of this height works best against a solid backdrop — a brick wall, rendered surface, or timber fence — where it can reflect planting and sky to create an illusion of depth. Its modern capsule silhouette suits courtyard gardens and contemporary patios as well as more traditional walled spaces.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror hangs in portrait orientation only using two keyhole fixings already fitted to the back — simply hook them onto two appropriately spaced screws in your wall. At 20 kg, this is a substantial piece; we’d suggest having a second person help lift and position it, particularly if you are mounting it at height. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so please choose fixings suited to your wall type — heavy-duty plasterboard anchors for stud walls or the correct gauge of masonry fixings for brick or block. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror. If mounting outdoors, stainless-steel or weather-resistant screws will help ensure a long-lasting, secure fit.
