This long glass wall mirror pairs a generous 120 × 40 cm reflective surface with a wide bevelled mirror-on-mirror frame, creating a piece that feels effortlessly polished in both modern and art deco-inspired settings. Part of our Holsworthy Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our hallway and living-room customers.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from mirrored glass panels rather than wood or metal, so the entire piece reads as one uninterrupted reflective surface. Each panel is individually bevelled, and the mitred corners meet at precise 45-degree joints that catch light and add a subtle three-dimensional depth. A fine black pinstripe line runs between the inner mirror plate and the outer frame panels, giving crisp definition without breaking the all-mirror aesthetic. Behind the glass sits a hardwood substrate backed by a black felt layer, which protects your wall from scratches and adds structural rigidity.
The overall effect is clean and contemporary — a large wall art mirror that doubles as a decorative focal point. In our experience, this style of frameless bevelled mirror sits equally well in a pared-back minimalist scheme or alongside glossy art deco furnishings.
Size & Placement
At 120 cm tall and 40 cm wide, this narrow rectangular mirror is proportioned to suit spaces where a broader mirror would overwhelm the wall. Hung portrait in a hallway, it gives you a near-full-length reflection while taking up very little horizontal room — a shape we reach for when the wall between a doorway and a radiator needs a finishing touch. In a living room, try it on the slim pier between two windows to bounce daylight deeper into the space.
Because the base is flat, you can also lean this mirror against a wall in a bedroom or dressing area for a relaxed, boutique feel. Turned landscape above a console table or sideboard, it works as a striking modern wall art piece, especially when grouped with candles or sculptural objects.
Hanging & Installation
Four D-loops are fitted to the back of the hardwood frame — two set for portrait hanging, two for landscape — so you can choose the orientation that suits your room. Position your wall screws to line up with the centre of the corresponding D-loops, then hang the mirror directly. Do not use string, wire, or chain. At 15 kg, this mirror benefits from a two-person lift during installation, and we recommend fixings rated for your specific wall type: heavy-duty rawl plugs for masonry, or specialist plasterboard anchors for stud walls. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
