Built for the garden, loved indoors too
This metal wall art outdoor piece brings together nature-inspired design and practical durability in a single striking panel. Customers tell us it works particularly well in the garden, catching light and reflections from surrounding greenery. At 120 × 60 cm, it delivers genuine visual impact without requiring an oversized wall.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel, finished in a dark, lightly textured black coating that sits somewhere between matte and subtly speckled — a finish that helps disguise minor weathering over time. Across the front, a laser-cut tree silhouette rises from the base, with interlocking branches spreading towards the top edge to form an intricate canopy. The cut-outs reveal a mirrored glass backing that reflects sky, foliage, and light, giving the piece a three-dimensional depth that flat printed wall art simply cannot match. The overall profile is approximately 4 cm deep, enough to cast soft shadows on the wall behind and reinforce that layered, sculptural quality. A plastic sheet backing board protects the rear of the mirror glass.
Size & Placement
At 120 cm tall and 60 cm wide, this large outdoor metal wall art piece is sized to fill a fence panel, a bare garden wall, or a sheltered courtyard feature space without overwhelming the area. In our experience, it looks especially effective mounted on rendered or brick walls where the dark frame contrasts cleanly with lighter surfaces. Indoors, it suits hallways, living rooms, and dining spaces — hang it portrait-style above a console table or sideboard and the mirrored sections will bounce light deeper into the room. Because the base is flat, you can also lean it against a wall at floor level for a more relaxed, gallery-style arrangement. Being rated for both indoor and outdoor use, this metal garden wall art is versatile enough to move with the seasons — garden in summer, hallway in winter — or simply left in place year-round. It pairs naturally with modern and industrial décor, complementing dark metal furniture, exposed brickwork, and neutral colour palettes.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror has two keyhole fixings on the back — one on each side — so you can simply hook it onto screws driven into your wall. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this piece. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; use fixings suitable for your wall type (solid masonry, brick, or timber fence). At 12 kg, we recommend a two-person lift to position and level the piece safely. For exterior mounting, stainless-steel or galvanised screws will resist corrosion and keep the panel secure through changing weather.
