Nature-Inspired Steel Art for Walls and Gardens
This large garden metal wall art brings the silhouette of a winter woodland to your outdoor or indoor space. A recent addition to our Timberscombe Collection range, it was chosen for its bold scale and intricate detailing — qualities that let a single piece anchor an entire wall.
Design & Materials
Cut from solid steel, the panel features a dense, interlocking pattern of tree trunks and bare branches contained within a slim rectangular frame. The matte black powder-coat finish gives the surface a lightly textured, almost cast-iron feel that reads well from a distance and reveals finer detail up close. Because the branches are open — cut fully through the steel — the wall or foliage behind becomes part of the artwork, creating natural shadow and depth that shifts with the light throughout the day. The frame edge is approximately 2.5 cm wide, keeping the overall profile clean and modern. It is a look that pairs well with both contemporary and industrial décor, and sits equally at home against exposed brick, painted render, or timber fencing.
Size & Placement
At 120 cm tall and 60 cm wide, this outdoor metal garden wall art occupies roughly the same footprint as a tall, narrow window — enough visual weight to serve as a focal point without overwhelming the wall around it. In a garden setting, we often suggest mounting it on a boundary fence or bare section of rendered wall where it can catch side-light and cast branch-shaped shadows. It also works beautifully above a garden bench or flanking a doorway as part of a symmetrical pair. Indoors, the rectangular format is well suited to hallways, stairwells, and living rooms — anywhere you want to add texture and interest without reducing the sense of space. The panel is just 4 cm deep and weighs 5 kg, so it sits close to the wall with a minimal footprint. Because it has a flat bottom edge, you could also lean it against a wall at ground level for a more relaxed, gallery-style display.
Hanging & Installation
The panel comes fitted with two keyhole fixings on the back — one on each side — so you simply drive a screw into the wall and hook the panel over it. At 5 kg, a single person can handle the weight comfortably, though having a second pair of hands to check alignment is always helpful. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so please use fixings suited to your wall type: standard plugs and screws for masonry, or appropriate anchors for timber fencing and stud walls. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this piece — the keyhole system is designed to hold it flush and stable.
