This oak full length wall mirror pairs a clean rectangular silhouette with the warmth and character of natural solid oak. A steady performer in our full length mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for understated timber frames that complement a wide range of interiors.
Design & Materials
The frame is crafted from solid oak finished in a light, natural tone that lets the grain pattern show through. In our experience, this kind of honest timber finish is one of the most versatile you can choose — it sits as happily against pale Scandi walls as it does beside richer, warmer tones. The profile is a distinctive recessed box section roughly 3.5 cm wide and 4 cm deep, which creates a subtle shadow line where the glass meets the timber. Corners are gently rounded rather than sharp, giving the piece a softer, more refined feel. The mirror glass itself is clear and unadorned — no bevel — keeping the overall look modern and pared back.
Size & Placement
At 180 cm tall and 90 cm wide, this is an extra-large framed full length mirror that provides a generous head-to-toe reflection. Hung in portrait, it works well at the end of a hallway, beside a wardrobe, or on a bedroom wall where you need a full-length dressing mirror. Its flat bottom means you can also lean it against a wall as a large wooden full length mirror — a style we see chosen most often for relaxed living rooms and open-plan spaces. Flip it to landscape and you have a striking overmantle or behind-the-sofa piece measuring 90 cm high by 180 cm across. At 18 kg it has a reassuring solidity, and the natural oak frame pairs effortlessly with modern furniture in light woods, linen upholstery, or neutral palettes.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror arrives fitted with four D-loops on the back of the frame, positioned so you can hang it in either portrait or landscape orientation. Line your wall screws up with the corresponding D-loops and hang the mirror directly — do not use string, wire, or chain. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings appropriate for your wall type; for plasterboard or stud walls, suitable anchors rated for at least 18 kg are essential. Given the size and weight, we recommend a two-person lift when positioning this rectangular full length wall mirror on the wall.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
