This round wooden framed mirror in solid oak brings a quiet, natural warmth to any wall it sits on. A steady performer in our Wall Mirrors line-up — chosen repeatedly by customers looking for a clean, contemporary wood frame with real character.
Design & Materials
The frame is crafted from solid oak in a geometric patchwork construction, where individual sections of timber are joined to create a subtly varied grain pattern around the full circumference. Rather than a single continuous piece, this jointed technique gives each mirror its own character — no two frames look quite identical. The oak carries a light, honey-toned finish that sits somewhere between raw and lightly sealed, letting the natural grain and colour variation come through without looking overly polished. In our experience, this kind of natural oak finish pairs effortlessly with both modern Scandinavian-inspired interiors and warmer, more traditional schemes.
The frame profile is what we call a deep dish — curving gently inward from the outer edge to meet the glass, giving the mirror a satisfying sense of depth at 4.8 cm from wall to face. The glass itself is clear and flat with no bevel, keeping the look pared back and letting the oak frame do the talking.
Size & Placement
At 80 cm in diameter, this round wall mirror with wooden frame sits comfortably in the small-to-medium bracket — large enough to make an impact as a focal point above a console table or sideboard, yet restrained enough not to overwhelm a standard hallway or bedroom wall. It works particularly well centred above furniture that is 90–120 cm wide, leaving balanced breathing room on either side.
In a living room, try it above a mid-century media unit — the warm oak tones complement walnut or teak furniture beautifully. In a hallway, it catches and distributes light from a nearby window or pendant, making the space feel more open. For bedrooms, it makes a striking alternative to a rectangular mirror above a chest of drawers. Because the shape is perfectly circular, there is no landscape-or-portrait decision to make — it simply works wherever you place it.
Hanging & Installation
This mirror comes fitted with four D-loops on the back, positioned so you can hang it securely from two wall screws. At 10 kg, it has a reassuring solidity — testament to the solid oak construction — but it is perfectly manageable for one person to lift and position. We recommend using fixings appropriate to your wall type: rawl plugs and screws for masonry, or specialist plasterboard fixings for stud walls. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included with the mirror. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this piece; the D-loop-to-screw method keeps it flush and stable against the wall.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
