This large modern wall mirror is all about understated refinement — a generous rectangular panel bordered by wide bevelled mirror strips that catch and redirect light across the room. Part of our Puriton Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our living-room and dining-room customers.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from bevelled mirror panels mounted on a solid hardwood backing, finished with a black felt layer on the reverse for a neat, wall-friendly profile just 2 cm deep. There is no painted or wooden frame visible from the front; the entire perimeter is reflective glass, cut at a precise angle so the bevelled edges create subtle prismatic highlights when light passes across them. The result is a frameless, all-mirror aesthetic that sits comfortably alongside contemporary furniture, metallic accents, and neutral colour palettes. If you lean towards pared-back modern interiors — or even art deco–inspired schemes where reflective surfaces take centre stage — this rectangular mirror will feel right at home.
Size & Placement
At 120 cm tall and 91 cm wide, this is a genuinely large rectangular wall mirror that commands attention without dominating. In our experience, mirrors of this proportion work particularly well above a sideboard or console table in a hallway, where they bounce daylight deeper into the space. Hung in landscape orientation above a sofa or dining table, the same piece opens up the room and creates a balanced focal point. Because the base sits flat, you also have the option of leaning it against a wall — a relaxed, modern-large-wall-mirror look that suits bedrooms and dressing areas. Weighing 15 kg, it is substantial enough to feel premium yet manageable for two people to position.
Hanging & Installation
This mirror comes fitted with four D-loops on the back, positioned so you can hang it in either portrait or landscape orientation. Line your wall screws up with the centre of the corresponding D-loops and hang the mirror directly — do not use string, wire, or chain. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings suited to your wall type: standard rawl plugs and screws for solid masonry, or specialist plasterboard fixings for stud walls. At 15 kg we recommend a two-person lift when positioning the mirror on the wall.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
