Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This small gold arch mirror pairs a classic arched silhouette with an industrial grid frame, creating a piece that feels architectural rather than purely decorative. Part of our Barrington Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our garden and living-room customers, it brings warmth and structure to any wall it occupies.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel, finished in a warm, matte gold tone that sits comfortably between brass and ochre. Eighteen individual mirror panes are set within a clean windowpane grid — five columns across the lower two rows, tapering into the curved arch above. The effect recalls the glazing bars of a Georgian orangery window, giving the piece its distinctive character. Each pane uses clear, non-bevelled glass, and the frame profile is slim at roughly 2.5 cm wide, keeping the emphasis on the reflective surface. A plastic sheet backing board protects the rear, and the overall depth is just 3 cm, so it sits close to the wall without protruding.
Size & Placement
Measuring 65 cm high by 90 cm wide, this gold arched wall mirror is generously proportioned for its small-bracket sizing — wide enough to anchor a feature wall, yet compact enough not to overwhelm. Indoors, we often suggest this for above a fireplace or console table, where the landscape orientation and arched top draw the eye upward. It pairs naturally with industrial-style interiors — exposed brick, dark metals, mid-century furniture — but the gold finish also lifts softer, neutral schemes. Outdoors, it is rated for garden use and looks wonderful mounted on a brick or rendered wall, reflecting borders and sky to create the illusion of a second window. Because it has a flat bottom edge, you can lean it on a deep mantel shelf or sturdy ledge if you prefer not to wall-mount. At 10 kg it has reassuring heft without being difficult to reposition.
Hanging & Installation
Two keyhole fixings are fitted to the back, so installation is straightforward: simply drive two screws into your wall at the correct spacing and hook the mirror on. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included — choose fixings appropriate for your wall type. For masonry or brick, standard rawl plugs and screws will suffice; for stud walls, locate the studs or use suitable plasterboard fixings rated for the 10 kg weight. A second pair of hands is helpful when marking screw positions, but the mirror is light enough for one person to lift into place.
