Built for the garden, loved indoors too
This gold arch mirror wall combines a generous 100 × 100 cm footprint with the charm of a traditional windowpane silhouette, making it a genuine focal point wherever you choose to place it. Part of our Barrington Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our garden and living-space customers.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel finished in a warm mustard-gold tone with a smooth, lightly satin sheen — a finish that reads as rich and contemporary rather than brassy. Twenty individual panes of clear mirror glass are set within the grid, divided by slim metal glazing bars that evoke the look of a classic Crittall or conservatory window. The arched top softens the otherwise squared proportions, lending the piece a sense of architectural elegance. At roughly 2.5 cm wide, the frame profile is deliberately understated, keeping attention on the reflective surface and the overall shape. A plastic-sheet backing board encloses the rear, and the whole piece weighs 10 kg — solid enough to feel well-made, yet manageable during hanging.
Size & Placement
At 100 cm tall and 100 cm wide, this is a substantial metal arch wall mirror that commands attention without overwhelming a space. Indoors, we often suggest this for above a sideboard, console table, or fireplace — the square proportions sit neatly above most standard furniture widths. Its modern gold wall mirror finish pairs naturally with industrial and contemporary interiors: think exposed brick, warm timber flooring, and matte-black hardware. Because this mirror is rated for outdoor use, it works beautifully mounted on a garden wall or fence, where the panes catch the sky and surrounding foliage to create the illusion of a window into another space. Position it opposite a planted border or climbing roses for the most rewarding reflection. The flat base also means you can lean it against a wall on a shelf or mantel if you prefer a more relaxed arrangement.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes fitted with two keyhole fixings on the back, so installation is straightforward: simply drive two screws into your wall at the correct spacing and hook the mirror over them. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included — use fixings appropriate for your wall type. For solid masonry, standard rawl plugs and screws are fine; for stud or plasterboard walls, use dedicated plasterboard fixings rated to support at least 10 kg. At this weight, one person can manage the lift, but a second pair of hands makes levelling easier and reduces the risk of scuffing your wall.
