Art Deco Elegance, Freestanding Convenience
This free standing full length mirror black is a striking piece from our Lingport Collection — a range that sells consistently well with our bedroom and dressing-room customers. The entirely mirrored frame creates a seamless, light-filled rectangle that feels both modern and subtly art deco, while the sturdy black easel stand keeps it upright wherever you place it.
Design & Materials
What sets this mirror apart is its layered, all-mirror frame. Two concentric bands of bevelled mirror glass surround the central pane, separated by slim black pinstripe detailing that gives the border its geometric, herringbone-style depth. Every bevelled edge catches and refracts light, adding a gentle sparkle without the need for an ornate surround. The back is finished with a black felt layer that protects flooring and furniture from scratches, while the internal structure is built on a hardwood substrate for rigidity. At just 2 cm deep, the profile is impressively slim — this is a full-length standing mirror that looks almost frameless from a distance yet reveals beautiful craftsmanship close up.
Size & Placement
At 150 cm tall and 40 cm wide, this is a narrow full-length black mirror designed for spaces where floor area is limited. In our experience, a mirror of this proportion works particularly well tucked beside a wardrobe or positioned in a corner of a dressing room, where it provides a head-to-knee reflection without dominating the wall. The flat bottom also means you can lean it directly against a wall if you prefer a casual, pared-back look — simply fold the easel stand flat behind the frame. It pairs naturally with contemporary or art deco interiors: think clean-lined furniture, metallic accents, and neutral palettes. At 15 kg it has a reassuring solidity, so it sits firmly on both carpeted and hard floors.
Hanging & Installation
This mirror arrives with a black easel back stand already fitted, so it is ready to use straight out of the box — no tools required. Position the stand at a comfortable angle and the mirror holds itself upright. If you later decide to wall-hang it as a large free standing mirror alternative, the stand can be unscrewed and replaced with suitable fixings such as keyhole plates or D-loops. Given the 15 kg weight, we recommend having a second person to help manoeuvre it into position, and if wall-mounting on a plasterboard partition, use appropriate cavity fixings rated for the load.
