This simple mirror pairs a generous reflective surface with a refined double-bevelled glass border, creating a look that feels both understated and polished. Part of our Holsworthy Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our living room and hallway customers.
Design & Materials
What sets this frameless wall mirror apart is the layered, stepped border. Two concentric bands of bevelled mirror glass create a subtle three-dimensional frame effect — each bevel catches and refracts light differently, adding depth without the visual weight of a traditional frame. The edges are neatly mitred at each corner for a precise, geometric finish, and the overall aesthetic sits comfortably within art deco, modern, and plain interior schemes. Behind the glass, a hardwood backing board with a black felt layer provides rigidity and protects your wall surface from scuffs.
Size & Placement
At 90 cm tall and 60 cm wide, this rectangular mirror is a versatile, medium-sized piece. In our experience, a mirror of this proportion works particularly well above a console table in a hallway or centred over a sideboard in a living room — large enough to open up the space and bounce natural light, without overwhelming a standard wall. The 2 cm depth keeps the profile slim and unobtrusive. Because it can be hung in either portrait or landscape orientation, you have the flexibility to adapt it to narrower walls or to run it horizontally above a bed or sofa. It also has a flat bottom edge, so it can be leaned against a wall on a mantelpiece or shelf if you prefer a more relaxed, gallery-style arrangement. Customers tend to pair this with neutral or monochrome décor, where the all-mirror finish picks up surrounding tones rather than introducing a competing colour.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror arrives fitted with four D-loops on the back, positioned so you can mount it in portrait or landscape without any modification. Simply position your wall screws to align with the corresponding D-loop centres, then hang the mirror directly onto them — do not use string, wire, or chain. At 10 kg, it is manageable for one person to lift, but having a second pair of hands to hold it in place while you mark fixing points makes the job far easier. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings rated for your wall type: standard plugs and screws for masonry, or specialist plasterboard anchors for stud walls.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
