Built for the garden, loved indoors too
This metal arch wall mirror pairs a clean, industrial silhouette with a practical indoor-outdoor build, making it one of the most versatile pieces in our range. Part of our Barrington Collection — a line we return to often when customers ask for hardy, industrial-style garden mirrors.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel finished in a smooth matte black coating, divided into a grid of individual mirror panes that echo the look of a traditional arched window. Fifteen rectangular panes sit beneath a gently curved arch top, each separated by slim black glazing bars roughly 2.5 cm wide. The glass is clear and unadorned — no bevel — keeping the overall feel modern and pared-back. A plastic sheet backing board seals the rear, and the entire piece carries a satisfying weight of 10 kg that speaks to the solidity of the steel frame. The matte finish sits comfortably alongside other black metal accents, exposed brickwork, or contemporary wooden furniture.
Size & Placement
At 100 cm tall and 100 cm wide, this black arch wall mirror commands attention without overwhelming a space. Indoors, we often suggest it above a fireplace or console table, where the arch top draws the eye upward and the grid pattern adds architectural interest to an otherwise plain wall. It also works well in a hallway, dining area, or living room as a focal point. Outdoors, mount it on a garden wall or fence to create the illusion of a second window — the mirror panes catch shifting light and surrounding foliage beautifully. Because the base is flat, it can lean against a wall at floor level for a more relaxed, contemporary look, though for outdoor use wall-mounting is the safer option. At just 3 cm deep, the profile sits close to the wall and won’t protrude awkwardly.
Hanging & Installation
Two keyhole fixings are fitted to the back of the frame, so installation is straightforward: mark your wall, drive in two screws at the correct spacing, and hook the mirror over them. Do not use string, wire, or chain — the keyhole slots are designed to sit directly on screw heads for a secure, flush fit. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; choose fixings appropriate for your wall type (masonry anchors for brick, plasterboard fixings for stud walls). At 10 kg, a second pair of hands is helpful when lifting the mirror into position and checking it sits level.
