Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This black metal frame full length mirror pairs a graceful arched silhouette with a bold windowpane grid, creating the illusion of a Crittall-style window wherever you place it. Part of our Honiton Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our garden and hallway customers.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel finished in a smooth matte black coating — understated enough for a modern living room yet robust enough for year-round outdoor use. Eighteen individual mirror panes sit within the grid, divided by flat metal glazing bars that echo the look of traditional ironwork windows. The profile is slim at roughly 2.5 cm wide, keeping attention on the reflective surface rather than the surround. A plastic sheet backing board protects the rear, and the overall build feels solid at 18 kg without being unwieldy. The glass is clear and un-bevelled, giving each pane a clean, contemporary edge that suits industrial and modern décor schemes alike.
Size & Placement
At 180 cm tall and 90 cm wide, this is a genuinely large full length black mirror — tall enough for a head-to-toe reflection and wide enough to make a real visual impact. The flat bottom means it can lean securely against a wall, which is a style we see chosen most often for hallways, bedrooms, and open-plan living areas where you want a dramatic focal point without committing to wall fixings. Outdoors, it transforms a plain fence or garden wall; mounted on timber cladding — as shown — it bounces light and greenery back into smaller courtyards and patios. Because the mirror is rated for indoor and outdoor use, you could move it seasonally or keep it in place all year. In a bedroom, position it beside a wardrobe for a full length arch wall mirror that doubles the sense of space. In a restaurant or hotel lobby, the black arch mirror full length format adds a loft-inspired edge that pairs naturally with exposed brick, concrete, or dark timber furniture.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes with two keyhole fixings on the back, so you simply hook it onto two screws driven into your wall — no wire, string, or chain should be used. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; choose fixings appropriate for your wall type. For solid masonry, standard rawl plugs and screws will do the job. For stud or plasterboard walls, use heavy-duty plasterboard fixings rated for at least 18 kg. At this weight we recommend a two-person lift when positioning the mirror, especially if you are wall-mounting at height. If you prefer to lean rather than hang, simply rest the flat base on the floor against a stable, flat wall surface and angle it back slightly for a secure lean.
