Built for the Garden, Loved Indoors Too
This extra large round quadrant mirror and bold in character brings real drama to any setting. At 180 cm across, the four-pane mullion cross set within a slim satin-black steel frame draws on industrial window aesthetics while keeping the look pared back and contemporary. A recent addition to our Watchet Collection range, chosen for its striking scale and indoor-outdoor versatility.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from powder-coated steel finished in a smooth satin black — a refined tone that avoids fingerprint marks and weathers well outdoors. At roughly 2.5 cm wide, the frame profile is deliberately slim, letting the four clear mirror panels dominate. A single horizontal and vertical mullion bar divide the glass into equal quadrants, creating that characterful round window look. The plastic sheet backing protects the rear from moisture while keeping weight to a manageable 25 kg. There is no bevelled edge — each panel sits flush within the steel framework for a clean, industrial finish.
Size & Placement
At 180 × 180 cm, this is an extra large round mirror for wall spaces that can handle genuine scale. In the garden, we recommend mounting it on solid brick or render where it bounces greenery and sky back into the space — the effect is remarkably close to an actual porthole window. Indoors, it works beautifully as a large black round wall mirror in open-plan dining areas, wide hallways, or above a generous sideboard. The 2 cm depth keeps it close to the wall, so it won’t protrude even in a corridor. If you’re working with a modern or industrial scheme — exposed brick, black metal furniture, concrete accents — this extra large black round mirror slots right in. It also pairs well with softer natural materials such as oak or rattan, providing a sharp contrast that stops a neutral room feeling flat.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror has two keyhole fixings on the back, so you simply hook it onto two screws set into your wall at the correct centres. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included — use fixings appropriate to your wall type. For a solid brick garden wall, heavy-duty rawl plugs and coach screws will do the job; for indoor stud walls, toggle bolts rated for at least 25 kg are essential. In our experience, a two-person lift is the safest approach at this size and weight. Do not use string, wire, or chain — the keyhole system is designed to sit directly on screws for a secure, flush fit. Portrait orientation only.
