This full length wooden wall mirror pairs generous proportions with a bold, wide-plank hardwood frame that brings real warmth and texture to any room. Part of our Sandford Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our bedroom and hallway customers.
Design & Materials
The frame is built from solid hardwood planks finished in a rich, mid-brown tone that lets the natural grain, knots, and tonal variation show through. Each piece looks subtly different — the wood hasn’t been painted or lacquered into uniformity, so you get genuine character rather than a factory-perfect finish. At roughly 12 centimetres wide on every side, the frame has real visual weight, creating a chunky, substantial border around the clear mirror glass. Corner joints are clean and squared, giving the design a straightforward, honest feel that sits comfortably alongside rustic, industrial, or contemporary wooden furniture. In our experience, a natural timber frame of this width reads as a feature in its own right, rather than just a surround for the glass.
Size & Placement
At 208 cm tall and 87 cm wide, this is an extra-large wood framed mirror full length enough to give you a complete head-to-toe reflection with room to spare. Leaned against a bedroom wall at a gentle angle — the flat bottom edge makes this simple and stable — it creates the kind of effortlessly styled focal point you’d see in an interior design feature. Alternatively, hang it in portrait beside a wardrobe or inside a walk-in dressing area for a dedicated outfit-check station. Flip it to landscape and you have a large framed full length mirror that works beautifully above a console table in a hallway or over a bed as a statement headboard accent. The warm brown tones pair naturally with cream, charcoal, or olive soft furnishings, and complement both pale oak and darker walnut furniture without clashing.
Hanging & Installation
This rectangular full length wall mirror comes fitted with four D-loops on the back, pre-positioned so you can hang it in either portrait or landscape orientation. Line your wall screws up with the centre of the corresponding D-loops and hang the mirror directly — do not use string, wire, or chain. At 40 kg, this is a substantial piece, so we strongly recommend a two-person lift for positioning and hanging. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; choose fixings rated for the weight and suited to your wall type, whether solid masonry or timber stud with appropriate anchors.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
