Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This white arch wall mirror pairs a clean, architectural silhouette with a robust steel frame that works just as well mounted on a garden wall as it does above a mantelpiece. Part of our Barrington Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our garden and contemporary-interior customers — and it’s easy to see why once you spot how effectively the window pane grid catches and scatters light.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel, powder-coated in a smooth white finish that reads bright and contemporary without looking plastic. A gentle arch crowns the top, while the rest of the frame sits square — giving the piece the look of a classic greenhouse or conservatory window. Eighteen individual mirror panes sit within thin steel glazing bars, each roughly square and separated by a flat bar profile approximately 2.5 cm wide. The glass itself is clear and unbevelled, delivering sharp reflections. At the back, a plastic sheet backing board protects the mirror from moisture — a practical detail we recommend looking for in any outdoor-rated mirror. The overall aesthetic sits neatly between industrial and modern: clean lines, no ornamentation, just well-proportioned geometry in a versatile white colourway.
Size & Placement
At 100 cm high and 100 cm wide, this is a generously sized metal arch wall mirror without being overwhelming. Outdoors, it works beautifully mounted on a brick or rendered garden wall, where the white frame pops against natural tones and the panes reflect greenery and sky to create the illusion of an extra window. In our experience, a mirror of this scale is ideal at the end of a narrow garden or along a boundary wall where you want to add depth. Indoors, the same piece sits comfortably above a console table in a hallway or over a fireplace in a living room. Its flat bottom edge means you could also lean it on a shelf or mantel for a relaxed, layered look. If your décor leans modern or industrial, the white steel frame pairs effortlessly with pale timber, exposed brick, or dark feature walls.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror is fitted with two keyhole fixings on the back, so you simply hook it onto two wall screws — no wire, string, or chain should be used. At 10 kg it is a manageable weight for wall mounting, though having a second person hold the mirror in position while you mark and drill is always sensible. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; choose fixings appropriate for your wall type, whether that is solid masonry outdoors or plasterboard and stud indoors. For exterior use, stainless-steel or zinc-coated screws will help prevent rust marks over time.
