This small art deco wall mirror draws its character from a layered, stepped border of bevelled glass — a design that feels both architectural and refined. Part of our Lynmouth Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our living room and hallway customers.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed entirely from mirror, with three tiers of bevelled glass strips set at slightly different depths around all four sides. This stepped profile creates subtle shadow lines and catches light at shifting angles, giving the piece a sense of movement that a flat frame cannot achieve. The glass itself is clear and bright, with crisp bevelled edges on each strip adding definition. Behind the mirror sits a hardwood backing board covered in black felt, keeping the construction rigid and protecting your wall surface. There is no traditional frame material visible from the front — the entire face is reflective, making this a true frameless mirror with real architectural presence.
Size & Placement
At 68 cm tall and 58 cm wide, this is a compact piece that suits spaces where a larger mirror would overwhelm. We often suggest this for hanging above a console table in a hallway, where the geometric lines draw the eye without dominating the wall. It also works beautifully above a sideboard in a living room or as a decorative wall mirror in a bedroom. The near-square proportions feel balanced in both portrait and landscape orientation, so you can adapt it to narrower or wider wall spaces as needed. If you have a small rectangular wall mirror in mind for above a fireplace, the 58 cm width sits comfortably within a standard mantelpiece without overhanging.
Hanging & Installation
This mirror comes fitted with four D-loop fixings on the back — two at the top and one at the bottom on each side — positioned so you can hang it in either portrait or landscape orientation. Position your wall screws to line up with the centre of the corresponding D-loops, then hang the mirror directly. Do not use string, wire, or chain. At 8 kg, it is manageable for one person to lift, but having someone steady the piece while you align the D-loops over your screws makes the job easier and safer. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so use fixings appropriate to your wall type — standard rawl plugs and screws for masonry, or specialist plasterboard fixings for stud walls.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
