Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This gold oval full length mirror pairs a generous 180 × 100 cm reflective surface with a clean, contemporary oval silhouette — a shape we reach for when a space needs softening without sacrificing scale. A steady performer in our Full Length Mirrors line-up, it is chosen repeatedly by customers looking for a large gold wall mirror that works just as well in a garden setting as it does in a hallway or living room.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel finished in a warm, brushed gold tone with a soft satin sheen — understated enough to sit alongside modern and industrial interiors, yet warm enough to complement traditional schemes. At roughly 2.5 cm wide, the narrow profile keeps the focus on the mirror glass itself, giving the piece an almost frameless appearance from a few paces back. The glass is clear and unbevelled, delivering a crisp, undistorted reflection. Behind the glass, a plastic sheet backing board seals the unit, helping to protect against moisture when the mirror is used outdoors. If you are pairing it with existing metalwork — brass cabinet handles, gold-toned lighting, or warm-metal furniture legs — the finish here sits comfortably in that family without being overtly shiny.
Size & Placement
At 180 cm tall and 100 cm wide, this is a full-length large mirror for wall mounting that delivers a true head-to-toe reflection for most adults. Hung in a hallway, it creates an immediate sense of space and light; in a living room, it makes a striking focal point above or beside a sofa. Because it is rated for outdoor use, you can also mount it on a sheltered garden wall or fence to reflect planting and open sky — in our experience, an oval garden mirror introduces far more visual interest than a standard rectangular panel. The 4 cm depth keeps the mirror sitting close to the wall. Portrait orientation only, so plan your wall space accordingly — it pairs naturally with narrow alcoves, chimney breasts, and end-of-corridor walls where a rectangular piece might feel boxy.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes fitted with two keyhole fixings on the back, so you simply hook it onto two screws set at the correct spacing in your wall. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included — choose fixings appropriate to your wall type (masonry anchors for brick or block, heavy-duty plasterboard fixings for stud walls). At 25 kg, this is a substantial piece; we recommend a two-person lift when positioning and hanging. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror. If mounting outdoors, ensure the screws and plugs you use are rust-resistant and rated for external conditions.
