Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This full length wall mirror black metal grid design brings real architectural presence to any space. Part of our Nynehead Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our garden and hallway customers. At two metres tall and eighty centimetres wide, the twenty-one windowpane panels catch and scatter light in a way that opens up even the narrowest wall.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel with a matte black powder-coat finish that gives it a clean, industrial edge. Thin crossbars divide the glass into a three-by-seven grid of square panes, echoing the look of a traditional Crittall window. Each pane sits within a flat, low-profile surround roughly 2.5 cm wide — enough to define the grid without adding bulk. The mirror glass is clear and unbevelled, offering a crisp, undistorted reflection. A plastic sheet backing board protects the rear, and all edges are neatly finished. In our experience, this kind of matte black frame pairs effortlessly with exposed brick, pale render, or painted panelling, bridging modern and industrial schemes with ease.
Size & Placement
At 200 cm tall by 80 cm wide, this is a genuinely large full length black mirror — tall enough for a head-to-toe view and slim enough for a hallway, landing, or the narrow pier wall between two windows. Because it is rated for outdoor use, you can mount it on a garden wall or fence to reflect greenery and create the illusion of depth in a courtyard or patio. Indoors, it makes a strong statement as a full length modern wall mirror in a living room, bedroom, or dressing area. The flat bottom edge means you can also lean it against a wall at floor level for a relaxed, contemporary look. Hung landscape, it transforms into an oversized rectangular mirror that works above a sideboard or console table. At 25 kg, it has a solid, reassuring weight without being unmanageable.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror comes fitted with four keyhole fixings on the back, allowing you to hang it in either portrait or landscape orientation. Position your wall screws to align with the centre of the corresponding keyholes, then hook the mirror on. Do not use string, wire, or chain — the keyholes provide a much more secure, flush-to-wall result. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings appropriate to your wall type; for plasterboard or stud walls, heavy-duty anchors rated for at least 25 kg are essential. Given the size, we recommend a two-person lift when positioning the mirror on the wall.
