Soft curves, bold presence
This large plain frameless mirror takes the familiar idea of a wall mirror and reshapes it — quite literally. Part of our Flowford Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with customers looking for modern, unfussy designs. Its fluid, pebble-like outline turns a functional piece into a genuine focal point, catching light and attention in equal measure.
Design & Materials
The mirror glass is cut into an organic irregular shape — no two edges follow a straight line. Without a traditional frame, the look is entirely about the silhouette itself. A thin black edge finishes the profile neatly, giving the glass just enough definition against the wall without competing with the form. The glass is clear and unembellished — no bevel, no antiquing — which keeps the aesthetic firmly modern and plain. Behind the mirror sits a sturdy wooden backing that adds rigidity and protects the silvering layer, so you get a piece that feels well-made as well as well-designed. This pared-back approach means the mirror sits comfortably alongside mid-century modern furniture, Scandi-inspired palettes, and minimalist interiors alike.
Size & Placement
At 120 cm tall and 100 cm wide, this is a generously proportioned modern large wall mirror that commands its own wall space without needing a companion piece. We often suggest this for a living room above a low console or sideboard, where its irregular outline can really breathe. It works equally well in a wide hallway — at this size, it reflects enough of the space to open up even a narrow landing. In a bathroom, positioned above a double vanity, the pebble shape adds personality to what is often the most functional room in the house. Because you can hang it in either portrait or landscape orientation, you have the flexibility to suit the proportions of your wall. In landscape, the broader sweep gives the impression of a large decorative wall mirror for a living room; in portrait, the taller profile draws the eye upward and adds height to the space. At just 2 cm deep, it sits almost flush to the wall.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror arrives fitted with four D-loops on the wooden backing, positioned to support both portrait and landscape hanging. Line up your wall screws with the centre of each D-loop and hang the mirror directly — do not use wire, string, or chain. At 10 kg, this is a manageable weight for solid walls, though we recommend having a second pair of hands to hold the mirror steady while you mark your fixing points. If you are mounting onto a stud or plasterboard wall, use fixings rated for the weight and wall type. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings appropriate to your surface.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
