A sculptural silhouette that doubles as wall art
This shard shaped full length mirror brings an unmistakably contemporary edge to any interior. Part of our Flowford Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our bedroom and hallway customers, its elongated, tapered form sits somewhere between an organic pebble and a surfboard — a shape we reach for when a room needs a focal point beyond a standard rectangle.
Design & Materials
The glass is cut into a smooth, irregular outline — wider at the base and tapering to a gentle point at the top — with no visible frame. The result is a clean, uninterrupted reflective surface that appears to float against the wall. Edges are polished and flush, giving the piece a sleek profile only around 2 cm deep. Behind the glass sits a solid wooden backing finished in black, keeping the mirror rigid. There is no bevelling, so the reflection stays true right to the perimeter. As a frameless wall mirror full length, it pairs effortlessly with minimalist or Scandinavian-inspired décor, and its neutral, all-mirror finish won’t compete with existing colour palettes.
Size & Placement
At 155 cm tall and 50 cm wide, this large wall full length mirror is generous enough for a head-to-knee view yet narrow enough to slip into spaces a standard rectangle might overpower. An irregular silhouette like this works particularly well on a plain, single-colour wall — a teal bedroom feature wall or a crisp white hallway — where the organic outline can truly stand out. Position it beside a bedside table, next to a wardrobe, or at the end of a landing to draw the eye and bounce light. It also suits boutique retail or salon settings where a full length decorative wall mirror needs to double as a design statement. Allow at least 160 cm of height and 55 cm of width for comfortable breathing room.
Hanging & Installation
Two D-loop fixings come pre-fitted to the wooden backing, spaced vertically for portrait hanging — the only orientation this piece is designed for. Install two screws in your wall, spaced to match the D-loop centres, and hang directly. Do not use string, wire, or chain; the mirror must sit flush on its fixings. At 15 kg, a two-person lift is advisable, and you should use fixings appropriate to your wall type — heavy-duty wall plugs for masonry or specialist anchors for plasterboard. Screws and rawl plugs are not included.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
