Sculptural simplicity, any way you hang it
This irregular wall mirror brings a quiet sense of drama to any room it enters. A consistent bestseller in our full length mirrors range, its freeform blob silhouette turns a purely functional piece into genuine wall art. The organic, undulating outline catches the eye without overwhelming the space around it.
Design & Materials
The mirror is entirely frameless in the traditional sense: a slim black edge traces the flowing curves, giving the glass a clean, precise finish. This thin border lends the piece a modern, gallery-like quality rather than a conventional framed look. The glass is clear and unembellished — no bevel — so the reflective surface extends right to the contour of every curve. A solid wooden backing adds rigidity and keeps the mirror flat against the wall. At just 2 cm deep, the profile sits almost flush. In our experience, this kind of frameless irregular mirror suits contemporary and minimalist interiors especially well, though the neutral finish pairs comfortably with natural wood furniture or bold colour palettes.
Size & Placement
At 160 cm tall and 70 cm wide in portrait, this is a full length wall mirror that gives a generous head-to-knee reflection — ideal for outfit checks in a bedroom or dressing area. Flip it to landscape and it becomes a wide, sculptural statement above a sideboard or console table. The narrow width fits comfortably on slimmer walls, such as the space between two doorways. Because the outline is asymmetric, the mirror reads quite differently depending on orientation, so it is worth trying both ways before committing. We often suggest this for open-plan living areas where you want a large decorative mirror that bounces light without the visual weight of a heavy frame.
Hanging & Installation
Four D-loops on the wooden backing let you hang this mirror in either portrait or landscape. Position your wall screws to align with the centres of the corresponding D-loops, then hang the mirror directly — do not use string, wire, or chain. At 15 kg, a two-person lift is strongly recommended. For plasterboard or stud walls, use fixings rated for the weight; for solid masonry, standard rawl plugs and screws will do. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
