Sculpted curves, understated drama
This wavy wall mirror turns a functional piece into a genuine focal point. Part of our Flowford Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our living-room and hallway customers, its undulating outline draws the eye without competing with the rest of your décor.
Design & Materials
The mirror’s defining feature is its flowing, irregular silhouette — soft concave and convex curves that ripple gently from top to bottom. There is no traditional frame; instead, a slim black backing edge traces the outline, giving the piece a clean, contemporary finish while keeping the focus squarely on the glass. The mirror surface itself is clear and un-bevelled, offering crisp, undistorted reflections. A solid wooden backing sits behind the glass, adding rigidity and keeping the overall profile just 2 cm deep. In our experience, this kind of wavy frameless mirror pairs effortlessly with both pared-back Scandi interiors and bolder, eclectic schemes — the organic shape provides visual movement without clashing with existing furniture or artwork.
Size & Placement
At 120 cm tall and 54 cm wide, this large wavy wall mirror is substantial enough to make a statement yet narrow enough for tighter wall spaces. Hung in portrait, it works beautifully above a console table in a hallway or beside a wardrobe in a bedroom, where the elongated wave adds height and a sense of fluidity. Flip it to landscape and you have an eye-catching alternative to a conventional overmantle or a decorative accent above a sofa. The wavy edge mirror shape also suits bathrooms — mounted above a vanity unit, it lifts an otherwise utilitarian space into something far more considered. Because the silhouette is irregular, we recommend stepping back from the wall before fixing to check the visual balance at the height you have in mind.
Hanging & Installation
Four D-loops are pre-fitted to the wooden backing, positioned so the mirror hangs securely in either portrait or landscape orientation. Simply align your wall screws with the centre of the corresponding D-loops and hang the mirror directly — do not use string, wire, or chain. At 10 kg, this is a manageable weight for one person to lift, though having a second pair of hands to check alignment while you mark drill points makes the job easier. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings rated for your wall type; plasterboard walls will need appropriate anchors to hold the weight safely.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
