This modern rectangular wall mirror pairs clean proportions with a slim brushed-silver aluminium frame, creating a quietly confident piece that lifts a room without competing with it. Part of our Arlington Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our hallway and bedroom customers.
Design & Materials
The frame is crafted from aluminium finished in a brushed silver tone — fine linear grain lines are visible across the flat-fronted profile, giving it a contemporary, lightly industrial texture. At roughly 1.5 cm wide and 2 cm deep, the frame sits almost flush with the wall, lending a pared-back, modern feel rather than a heavy or ornate one. The glass is clear and un-bevelled, keeping every line sharp and minimal. Steel D-loop brackets on the reverse add solid structural support without adding bulk. In our experience, this type of slim silver-framed mirror is one of the easiest to place because it introduces a metallic accent without dictating the surrounding palette.
Size & Placement
At 120 cm tall and 40 cm wide, this is a large rectangular mirror with a deliberately narrow profile. Hung in portrait orientation, it works beautifully in hallways and entrance areas where wall width is limited but you still want a generous reflective surface — tall enough to check an outfit at a glance. Position it beside a console table or coat hooks for a practical yet polished arrangement. Flip it to landscape and it becomes a striking accent above a sideboard, desk, or low-line media unit, stretching roughly a metre across the wall to draw the eye sideways and make compact rooms feel wider. The flat bottom edge also means you can lean it against a wall if you prefer not to drill — propped behind a bedside table or at the end of a dressing area, it adds depth and a relaxed, layered look. Customers tend to pair this with warm wood tones or matte-black furniture to contrast the cool silver finish.
Hanging & Installation
Four D-loop brackets are pre-fitted on the back of the frame, positioned so you can hang the mirror in either portrait or landscape. Simply align your wall screws with the centre of each D-loop and hang directly — no wire, string, or chain is needed or recommended. At 10 kg, this is a manageable weight for one person, though a second pair of hands makes levelling much easier. If you are mounting on a stud or plasterboard wall, use fixings rated for the wall type; screws and rawl plugs are not included.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
