This silver full length mirror with stand pairs a slim brushed-aluminium frame with a robust black metal easel, giving you a freestanding mirror that looks refined yet stays firmly grounded. Part of our Arlington Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our bedroom and dressing-room customers.
Design & Materials
The frame is crafted from aluminium with a lightly brushed silver finish — not high-shine chrome, but a subtle satin texture that catches the light without competing with other pieces in the room. At roughly 1.5 cm wide, the frame sits almost flush with the glass, creating a clean, modern edge that lets the mirror do the talking. The glass itself is clear and unembellished, with no bevel, delivering a crisp, undistorted reflection. Behind the mirror, a black-finished wooden back panel adds rigidity, while the black steel easel stand provides a pleasing contrast to the silver surround. In our experience, this pairing of warm-toned metal and dark stand works especially well alongside grey, white, or muted gold bedroom furniture.
Size & Placement
Measuring 170 cm tall by 58 cm wide, this full length freestanding mirror gives a comfortable head-to-toe view for most adults. The narrow 58 cm width means it tucks easily into a corner of a bedroom, beside a wardrobe, or against a hallway wall without eating into floor space. Because the base of the frame is flat, you also have the option of leaning this silver standing mirror against a wall if you prefer a casual, relaxed look — the easel simply folds away behind. In a compact dressing area, position it near natural light to make the most of the reflection; in a hallway, it provides that last-minute outfit check before heading out.
Hanging & Installation
Out of the box, this mirror is ready to use as a freestanding piece — unfold the black metal easel, position it on a level surface, and you are set. No tools or fixings required. If you later decide to wall-hang it, the easel can be unscrewed and removed, after which you can add suitable wall-hanging fixings such as keyhole plates or D-loops to mount the mirror securely in portrait orientation. At 15 kg, it is manageable for one person to move short distances, though we recommend two people when lifting it into a wall-hung position to keep both the mirror and your walls safe. Ensure your chosen wall — whether solid masonry or stud — can comfortably support the weight, and use fixings rated for the wall type.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
