This slim gold mirror pairs a generous full-length reflection with one of the most refined frames in our range. Part of our Arlington Collection — a line we return to often when customers ask for clean, modern metalwork — it brings quiet warmth to any room without competing for attention.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from lightweight aluminium finished in a soft, brushed gold tone. Up close, you can see a fine linear grain running through the metal — a subtle texture that catches the light differently depending on the angle, lending the frame a tactile quality that a flat spray finish simply cannot match. At just 1.5 cm wide, the profile is deliberately minimal: it outlines the glass rather than framing it heavily, which gives the mirror a sleek, almost frameless appearance from a few steps back.
Behind the glass sits a solid black backing board, and the whole piece is secured with steel corner brackets for long-term rigidity. The glass itself is clear and unembellished — no bevel, no antiquing — so reflections stay sharp and true from edge to edge.
Size & Placement
At 150 cm tall and 60 cm wide, this gold full length mirror is sized to give you a head-to-knee reflection when wall-mounted at standing height — more than enough for outfit checks and daily grooming. In our experience, a mirror this size sits comfortably in a standard UK hallway without overwhelming the space, and it works equally well mounted beside a wardrobe in a bedroom or above a console table in a living room.
The flat bottom edge means you can lean it directly against a wall if you prefer, resting it on a hard floor at a gentle angle. This is a popular approach in bedrooms and dressing rooms where you want to reposition the mirror occasionally. Oriented landscape, the same piece doubles as a large gold wall mirror above a sideboard or sofa — a useful option if your room layout changes over time. With a depth of only 1.6 cm, it sits almost flush to the wall whichever way you display it.
Hanging & Installation
Four D-loop brackets are pre-fitted to the back of the frame, positioned to support both portrait and landscape hanging. Line your wall screws up with the centre of the corresponding D-loops and hang the mirror directly — no wire or chain should be used. At 15 kg, a two-person lift is advisable when positioning, and we recommend using fixings rated for your wall type. Rawl plugs and screws are not included, so check whether you are fixing into solid masonry or a stud wall and choose appropriate anchors.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
