The frame is built from a hardwood and casting-resin composite, giving it both the structural strength needed at this size and the fine ornamental detail that a single material alone would struggle to deliver. A swept profile runs around the full perimeter, bordered by a delicate beaded inner edge. Each corner is finished with a scrolled acanthus-leaf motif, with a smaller shell-and-leaf accent placed at the midpoint of each side. The gold tone sits in a warm, matte-to-soft-sheen range — closer to antique gold than a brightly polished finish — making it easy to pair with period furniture, vintage décor, or even a more contemporary scheme that needs a focal point with character. Behind the frame, bevelled mirror glass catches and refracts light at the edges, adding a subtle layer of depth.
