Part of our Monksilver Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our bedroom and hallway customers — this ornate white full length mirror combines traditional carved detailing with a bright, clean finish that lifts any space it occupies.
Design & Materials
The frame is built from a hardwood core with casting-resin ornamental overlays, delivering the depth of hand-carved work at a practical weight. Each corner features a generous acanthus-leaf cartouche, while a continuous beaded moulding runs along the inner edge. The entire surround is finished in a smooth white paint — glossy enough to catch the light yet refined enough to avoid a plastic look. In our experience, this tonal consistency is what makes a white ornate frame so versatile; it pairs naturally with shabby chic, vintage, and even pared-back Scandi schemes.
The bevelled mirror glass adds a fine prismatic edge around the reflection, catching daylight beautifully and lending the piece an unmistakable quality finish.
Size & Placement
At 170 cm tall and 79 cm wide, this large white full length mirror delivers a generous head-to-toe view without overwhelming a standard room. The frame is approximately 6 cm deep, so it sits neatly within a single wall panel or chimney breast alcove.
Hung in portrait, it works particularly well in a bedroom beside a wardrobe, in a hallway for a last-minute check, or in a dressing room where full-length visibility matters. Flip it to landscape and it becomes an elegant overmantle or a wide decorative mirror for a living room. Thanks to a flat bottom edge, you can also lean it against a wall — a style we see chosen most often for relaxed, design-led bedrooms and boutique retail spaces.
Set against warm wood furniture the bright white wood frame provides a crisp counterpoint; against pale walls it blends in while still adding architectural interest through its carved profile.
Hanging & Installation
This mirror comes fitted with four D-loop fixings on the back, positioned for either portrait or landscape hanging. Line your wall screws up with each corresponding D-loop and hang directly — do not use string, wire, or chain. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings appropriate to your wall type: standard rawl plugs for solid masonry, or heavy-duty plasterboard anchors for stud walls.
At 17 kg, we recommend a two-person lift when positioning it.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
