This frameless round mirror 70cm in diameter pairs a clean silhouette with a subtle bevelled edge, giving any wall a lift of light and depth without competing with existing décor. Part of our Clovelly Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our living room and hallway customers.
Design & Materials
Without a frame to interrupt the eye, this round wall mirror is all about the glass. The bevelled edge — a shallow, angled cut running the full circumference — catches light beautifully and adds a refined detail that lifts it beyond a basic flat mirror. Backing is constructed from hardwood with a plastic veneer surround, keeping the profile slim at just 1.6 cm deep. From the front the effect is seamless: a floating disc of clear, high-quality mirror glass that works equally well in modern, minimalist, and plain interiors.
Size & Placement
At 70 cm across, this is a small-to-medium piece — generous enough to open up a compact hallway or make a statement above a console table, yet restrained enough not to overwhelm a smaller wall. In our experience, a 70 cm round mirror frameless design like this sits perfectly above a sideboard of 100–120 cm width, leaving balanced breathing room on either side. It also works well as a modern round wall mirror in a bedroom, centred above a chest of drawers, or as a plain round wall mirror in a bathroom where you want something more considered than a standard cabinet mirror. Because there is no frame to coordinate with furniture finishes, it slips effortlessly into spaces with mixed materials — oak, painted wood, marble, or tile.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror arrives fitted with two D-loops on the back, aligned vertically for portrait-orientation hanging. Install two screws in your wall, spaced evenly to match the D-loop centres, and hang the mirror directly. Do not use string, wire, or chain. At 7 kg this is a comfortably manageable weight for one person to position, though a second pair of hands makes levelling easier. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included — choose fixings appropriate to your wall type (masonry, plasterboard, or stud). For stud walls, aim to hit at least one timber stud, or use specialist plasterboard anchors rated for the weight.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
