Eight sides, zero frame — pure reflective geometry
This frameless octagon mirror pairs an eye-catching eight-sided silhouette with clean, unframed simplicity. Part of our Clovelly Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our living room and hallway customers, it lets the shape and the bevel do all the talking — no frame colour to match, no moulding to date.
Design & Materials
Crafted from quality mirror glass with a generous bevelled edge that runs around all eight sides, this piece catches light at every angle and adds a subtle prismatic sparkle to whatever wall it sits on. The bevel — clearly visible in the close-up — is wide enough to create a defined border, giving the octagon real presence despite having no traditional frame. Behind the glass, a sturdy hardwood and plastic-veneer backing keeps everything rigid and protects the silvering. The overall profile is slim at just 1.6 cm deep, so it sits almost flush against the wall for a sleek, modern look. In our experience, a bevelled frameless mirror like this pairs effortlessly with both minimalist Scandinavian schemes and more eclectic, mid-century modern interiors.
Size & Placement
At 100 × 100 cm, this is a genuinely large decorative wall mirror — big enough to anchor a feature wall yet perfectly proportioned above a standard sideboard or console table. It works particularly well centred over a sofa, as the lifestyle image shows, where its octagonal shape breaks up the horizontal lines of the furniture below. For hallways, it bounces natural light deep into the space and gives you a generous reflection as you pass. Because the base is flat, you could also lean it against a wall on a mantelpiece or deep shelf for a more relaxed, gallery-style look. We recommend leaving at least 15–20 cm of clear wall space around the edges so the geometric outline reads clearly.
Hanging & Installation
This mirror comes fitted with four D-loop fixings on the back — two on each side — positioned so you can hang it in portrait orientation. Simply position your wall screws to line up with the centre of the corresponding D-loops, then hang the mirror directly onto them. Do not use string, wire, or chain. At 12 kg, it is a solid piece; we’d suggest a two-person lift to get it onto the wall safely. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings rated for your wall type — heavier-duty anchors for plasterboard, standard plugs for masonry.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
