This silver framed rectangular mirror pairs a generous 90 × 60 cm mirror plate with a slim, modern aluminium frame finished in a cool silver tone. Part of our Arlington Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our bathroom and hallway customers.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from aluminium with a smooth, lightly brushed silver finish that catches the light without overwhelming the glass. At roughly 1.5 cm wide, it provides a crisp, defined edge — just enough to frame the reflection without adding visual bulk. The close-up detail shows clean mitred corners and a flat profile that sits almost flush to the wall, giving the piece a streamlined, contemporary feel. The mirror glass itself is clear and unbevelled, delivering a bright, undistorted reflection. Backed by steel brackets for rigidity, this is a solidly built piece despite its lightweight appearance. We recommend it for anyone drawn to modern or minimalist interiors where a silver metal framed mirror complements chrome tapware, brushed-steel lighting, or pale stone surfaces.
Size & Placement
At 90 cm tall and 60 cm wide, this rectangular silver wall mirror is a versatile mid-size piece. Hung in portrait above a bathroom vanity unit, it provides ample head-and-shoulders coverage without dominating a standard basin wall. Turn it to landscape and it works beautifully as a hallway mirror above a console table, or as a subtle accent above a bedroom chest of drawers. The flat bottom edge also means you can lean it on a shelf or mantelpiece for a relaxed, gallery-style look. At just 2 cm deep and 7 kg, it sits close to the wall and won’t overpower slimmer furniture beneath it — in our experience, this size strikes a practical balance between presence and proportion in rooms where space is at a premium.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror arrives fitted with four D-loops on the back — two positioned for portrait hanging, two for landscape — so you can choose your preferred orientation without additional hardware. Simply align your wall screws with the centre of the corresponding D-loops and hang the mirror directly. Do not use string, wire, or chain, as the frame is designed to sit flat against the wall on fixed points. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; choose fixings appropriate to your wall type (solid masonry, plasterboard, or stud). At 7 kg this is comfortable for one person to lift, though having a second pair of hands to mark and level the fixings always makes the job easier.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
