This black full length mirror with stand pairs a generous reflective surface with one of the slimmest frames in our range. Part of our Arlington Collection — a line that sells consistently well with our bedroom and dressing-area customers — it delivers understated modern style that sits quietly alongside almost any colour scheme.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from lightweight aluminium finished in a smooth matte black. At roughly 1.5 cm wide, the profile is deliberately minimal — just enough to define the mirror’s edges without distracting from the glass. The result is a pared-back, modern aesthetic that lets the reflection do the talking. Clear, unbevelled glass fills the entire face, giving you an undistorted head-to-toe view. The rear is neatly finished with a black backing board and steel reinforcing brackets, adding rigidity to the overall construction.
Size & Placement
Measuring 170 cm tall by 58 cm wide and just 2 cm deep, this is a full-length freestanding mirror that stays narrow enough to tuck beside a wardrobe, slot into a hallway alcove, or stand in the corner of a bedroom without dominating the space. In our experience, mirrors in this width class work particularly well in rooms where floor area is at a premium — think compact dressing rooms, guest bedrooms, or the landing at the top of the stairs. The rectangular shape and slim black frame complement modern interiors, but also pair neatly with industrial-style furniture and metal accents. Because the base sits flat, you can also lean it directly against a wall for a relaxed, editorial look — useful if you prefer to reposition your mirror from time to time.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror arrives with a sturdy fold-out back stand already fitted, so setup is straightforward — simply unfold the stand and position the mirror where you want it. At 15 kg it is manageable for one person, though a second pair of hands makes angling easier. Should you later decide to wall-hang it, the back stand unscrews cleanly, and you can then attach suitable fixings such as keyhole plates or D-loops to mount it in portrait orientation on your wall. For solid masonry walls, standard heavy-duty screws and wall plugs will do the job; for plasterboard or stud walls, use dedicated plasterboard fixings rated to the mirror’s weight.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
