The Clovelly framed mirror pairs a generous full length silhouette with a clean, frameless aesthetic that lets the glass do all the talking. Part of our Clovelly Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our bedroom and hallway customers.
Design & Materials
Rather than relying on a decorative frame, this mirror draws the eye with a wide bevelled border that tapers gently around all four sides. The bevel adds a subtle light-catching facet to the perimeter, giving the piece a refined, polished finish without any visible surround. Behind the glass sits a sturdy hardwood backing with a plastic-veneer covering, keeping the weight manageable at 12 kg while providing solid rigidity. In our experience, a well-executed bevel like this one offers the visual interest of a frame while preserving the minimalist look that works so well in modern and plain interior schemes.
Size & Placement
At 150 cm tall and 60 cm wide, this is a true full length wall mirror — tall enough to give you a head-to-toe reflection, yet narrow enough to slot comfortably beside a wardrobe or at the end of a landing. Portrait orientation is the natural choice for dressing areas and bedrooms; flip it to landscape and the same Clovelly framed mirror becomes a striking overmantle or a wide feature above a console table. The flat bottom edge means you can also lean it against a wall if you prefer a relaxed, grounded look — a style we see chosen most often for contemporary bedrooms with minimal furniture. With its rectangular full length profile and clean lines, it pairs effortlessly with mid-century sideboards, Scandi-style bed frames, or sleek fitted wardrobes.
Hanging & Installation
Four D-loops are pre-fitted to the hardwood back, positioned to support both portrait and landscape hanging. Line up your wall screws with the centre of each D-loop and hang the mirror directly — no wire, string, or chain should be used. At 12 kg, it is comfortable for two people to lift into position, and we recommend rawl plugs rated for your wall type (solid masonry or plasterboard with appropriate anchors). Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so check your fixings before you start. The slim 1.6 cm depth means the mirror sits almost flush against the wall once mounted.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
