This modern square wall mirror delivers a refined, pared-back look that lets the glass itself take centre stage. Part of our Clovelly Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our living-room and hallway customers, it pairs a generous 80 cm square format with a subtle bevelled edge that catches the light beautifully.
Design & Materials
Constructed from quality mirror glass backed by a hardwood and plastic-veneer board, this frameless square mirror relies on a clean, edge-to-edge profile with no visible frame at all. The bevelled border — a gentle angled cut running around the full perimeter — adds just enough detail to define the shape without competing with your wall décor. Viewed from the side, the mirror sits at a slim 1.6 cm depth, so it appears to float against the wall. If you favour minimalist or contemporary interiors, this is a shape we reach for when a room calls for light and symmetry in equal measure.
Size & Placement
At 80 × 80 cm, this square wall mirror is large enough to create an eye-catching focal point yet compact enough to fit above a console table, mantelpiece, or sideboard without overwhelming the wall. In a hallway, it provides a quick final check before you head out the door. In a living room, positioning it opposite or beside a window draws natural light deeper into the space — a reliable trick for making smaller rooms feel more open. The flat bottom edge means you could also lean it on a shelf or deep mantel for a relaxed, contemporary feel, though wall-mounting gives the cleanest result. Its neutral, all-mirror finish pairs effortlessly with both warm wood tones and cooler grey or white palettes.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror arrives fitted with two D-loop fixings on the rear, aligned vertically for portrait hanging. Install two screws in your wall, spaced to match the D-loop centres, and hang the mirror directly — no wire or chain is needed. At 8 kg, it is comfortably manageable for one person, though a second pair of hands is always helpful when lining things up. Be sure to use fixings appropriate for your wall type: standard rawl plugs and screws work well on solid masonry, while hollow-wall anchors are essential for plasterboard. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
