Built for the Garden, Equally at Home Indoors
If you’re looking for extra large garden mirrors that make a genuine impact, the Honiton ivory arched fanlight grid deserves a closer look. Part of our Honiton Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our garden and living-space customers, this 180 × 103 cm mirror pairs generous scale with a refined window-pane design suited to both outdoor boundaries and interior feature walls.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel and finished in a soft, weathered ivory tone with subtle tonal variation — warm sandy undertones blending with hints of sage where the patina settles into the recesses, giving it a convincingly vintage character. The arched top houses a decorative fanlight section with radiating glazing bars, while the lower body is divided into a neat grid of twenty rectangular panes. Each holds a clear, unbevelled mirror panel, and the overall effect closely echoes a Georgian or Victorian conservatory window. At 4 cm deep, the frame casts a pleasant shadow line without looking bulky. A plastic sheet backing board protects the rear and helps shield the panels when used outdoors.
Size & Placement
At 180 cm tall and 103 cm wide, this is a genuinely large arch mirror for a wall or a lean — its flat base lets you rest it against a solid garden wall or sturdy fence without any fixings. Outdoors, in our experience, it works best positioned at the end of a garden path or against a boundary wall between planting beds; the panes catch the sky and surrounding greenery, creating the illusion of a second garden beyond. Indoors, it makes a striking extra large leaning wall mirror in a hallway or living room — particularly against darker tones like forest green or navy, where the ivory frame lifts and contrasts. The weathered finish pairs naturally with rustic wood, rattan, and natural stone, suiting both modern and Victorian-inspired interiors.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror has three keyhole fixings on the back — one on each side and one at the top — so you can hook it onto screws driven into your wall. At 20 kg, it is a two-person lift for carrying and hanging. For solid masonry or brick, standard heavy-duty wall plugs and screws will hold it securely; for stud-partition walls, locate the timber studs or use specialist plasterboard fixings rated for the weight. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included — use fixings suitable for your wall type.
