This frameless mirror on wall delivers the kind of paired-back elegance that lets a room do the talking. Part of our Clovelly Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our hallway and living room customers.
Design & Materials
There is no frame here — just a single pane of quality mirror glass with a polished bevelled edge that catches light beautifully as it tapers toward the wall. The bevel runs the full perimeter, adding a subtle border of refracted light without the visual weight of a traditional frame. Backed by hardwood and finished with a plastic-veneer seal, the construction keeps the panel rigid and protects the silvering from moisture over time. The result is a modern wall mirror with a minimalist profile barely 1.6 cm deep, sitting almost flush against the surface behind it.
Size & Placement
At 90 cm tall and 60 cm wide, this rectangular frameless wall mirror is a genuinely versatile size. Hung in portrait, it sits neatly above a console table or hallway sideboard without dominating the wall space around it. Flip it to landscape and it works as an understated overmantle piece or a bathroom mirror above a double basin. In our experience, this mid-range size is the one people reach for when they want a practical, everyday mirror that still opens up a room with reflected light. Because the base is flat, you also have the option of leaning it against a wall on a deep shelf or mantelpiece for a relaxed, contemporary look — a styling trick that pairs well with modern or plain interiors.
Hanging & Installation
Four D-loops are pre-fitted to the back, positioned so the mirror hangs in either portrait or landscape. Simply line up your wall screws with the centre of the corresponding D-loops and hang the mirror directly — no wire, string, or chain is needed. At 8 kg it is straightforward for one person to lift into place, though a second pair of hands is always helpful for getting the alignment right. Use fixings appropriate for your wall type: standard rawl plugs and screws for masonry, or specialist plasterboard anchors for stud walls. Wall screws and plugs are not included.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
