Pure arch, zero frame
This full length arch wall mirror strips the arch shape back to its essentials — no frame, no border, just a generous sweep of clear glass that seems to float against your wall. Part of our Clovelly Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our bedroom and hallway customers. The frameless silhouette gives it a contemporary edge that pairs effortlessly with modern, Scandi, and minimalist interiors alike.
Design & Materials
What you see here is deliberate restraint: the mirror glass is cut to a smooth arch at the top and finishes with a flat, squared-off base — a shape we reach for when a room calls for softness without ornamentation. The glass is clear and un-bevelled, mounted onto a rigid hardwood backing finished in a black plastic veneer. At roughly 2 cm deep, the profile is impressively slim, so from the side or when leaned at a slight angle the mirror appears almost wafer-thin. The polished edge of the glass catches a fine line of light, giving the piece just enough definition against a painted wall without the visual weight of a traditional frame.
Size & Placement
At 180 cm tall and 60 cm wide, this is a true extra large full length mirror — tall enough for a head-to-toe view, yet narrow enough to slot into spaces where a wider leaner would feel intrusive. In our experience, this size sits perfectly beside a wardrobe in a bedroom or at the end of a hallway where it draws the eye and stretches perceived depth. Because the base is flat, you can lean it directly against a wall for a relaxed, editorial look. For living rooms, try placing it beside a console table or armchair to bounce natural light deeper into the space. Its frameless, modern aesthetic also makes it a strong choice for boutique fitting rooms, hair salons, or hotel suites where clean lines are non-negotiable.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror arrives fitted with two D-loop fixings on the back, positioned for portrait-orientation wall hanging. Install two screws into your wall, spaced evenly to match the D-loop centres, and hang the mirror directly — do not use string, wire, or chain. At 20 kg this is a substantial piece, so we recommend a two-person lift when positioning it. If you are fixing into a plasterboard or stud wall, use appropriate heavy-duty wall plugs rated for the weight. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; always choose fixings suited to your wall type.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
