Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel, finished in a clean, smooth white coating that reads as semi-matte in daylight. Slim bars — roughly 2.5 cm wide — divide the mirror glass into twelve rectangular panes beneath a smaller arched fanlight at the top, creating the charming appearance of a tall sash window. The glass itself is clear and unembellished, with no bevel, keeping the overall effect light and modern. A plastic sheet backing board protects the rear, clipped securely around the frame’s perimeter. In our experience, white metal frames like this sit beautifully against darker surfaces — think charcoal fence panels, deep green foliage, or the rich teal cladding shown in the product images. Indoors, it pairs naturally with Victorian-inspired interiors or modern Scandi palettes where white and muted greens are dominant.
Size & Placement
Measuring 120 cm tall by 80 cm wide, this is a large arch mirror that commands attention without overwhelming the space around it. Outdoors, hang it on a garden wall or fence to reflect borders and sky, instantly creating the impression of a hidden window. At this height, it captures greenery at eye level and draws light into shaded corners. Indoors, it works wonderfully above a console table in a hallway, over a mantelpiece, or as a statement piece on a living room wall — at 120 cm it sits comfortably above most standard sideboards. The flat bottom edge means you could also lean it against a wall on a shelf or deep mantel, though wall mounting is the more secure option for everyday use. Because it is rated for indoor and outdoor placement, you have the flexibility to move it between spaces seasonally.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror hangs in portrait orientation using two keyhole fixings on the back — simply hook it onto two screws driven into your wall. Do not use string, wire, or chain. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so choose fixings appropriate for your wall type — masonry anchors for brick or stone, and heavy-duty plasterboard fixings for stud walls. At 12 kg, this is a sturdy piece; we recommend having a second person help you position and lift it into place to ensure accurate alignment. For outdoor walls, stainless-steel or weather-rated screws will help prevent corrosion over time.
