Simplicity with presence
This frameless curve mirror pairs a classic arch silhouette with a generous 120 × 80 cm mirror surface, creating a piece that feels both modern and timeless. Part of our Clovelly Collection range, a collection that sells consistently well with our hallway and living-room customers, it lets the glass do all the talking — no frame to compete with your décor.
Design & Materials
The mirror is constructed from a hardwood backing clad in a black plastic veneer, giving the edge a slim, barely-there profile that reads as a thin dark outline when viewed from the front. From the close-up images you can see that the glass carries a pronounced bevel around the full perimeter — a subtle faceted edge that catches and refracts light, adding quiet detail to what is otherwise a deliberately plain mirror. The reflective surface itself is clear and undistorted, and the overall aesthetic sits comfortably alongside modern, Scandinavian, and mid-century schemes. We often suggest this for rooms where you want a large arch mirror on the wall without the visual weight of a decorative frame.
Size & Placement
At 120 cm high and 80 cm wide, this curved wall mirror occupies a satisfying amount of wall space — large enough to make a statement above a console table or sideboard, yet contained enough to sit between doorways in a hallway without overwhelming the area. The flat bottom edge means you can also lean it against a wall at floor level for a relaxed, contemporary feel, though wall mounting keeps the full surface at a practical height for checking your reflection. In a living room, position it opposite or adjacent to a window and it will bounce natural light deep into the space — a reliable trick for rooms that feel a little dim. The 1.6 cm depth keeps it close to the wall, so it won’t protrude noticeably even in narrow corridors. A modern large wall mirror like this also works well in open-plan kitchens or dining areas where you want to visually extend the room.
Hanging & Installation
On the back you’ll find four D-loop fixings already attached — two near the top of the arch and two lower down — positioned to support portrait hanging. At 15 kg, this is a substantial piece, so we recommend a two-person lift when positioning it on the wall. Mark your screw positions to align with the centre of each D-loop, then hang the mirror directly onto screws secured into your wall. For stud walls, toggle or snap-toggle fixings are advisable; for solid masonry, standard rawl plugs work well. Wall screws and plugs are not included, so choose fixings rated for your wall type and the mirror’s weight.
For a clean, flush-wall finish, we recommend pairing this mirror with our heavy-duty mirror fittings kit — a hook-and-loop back-plate system designed to sit flat against solid frames.
