Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This black industrial full length window mirror is a consistent bestseller in our Full Length Mirrors range. Standing 160 cm tall, its arched multi-pane silhouette echoes the look of a Victorian conservatory window, reflecting light and greenery to make any space feel larger and more open. Whether you fix it to a garden wall framed by climbing roses or lean it in a hallway, it delivers immediate visual impact.
Design & Materials
The frame is constructed from steel with a hand-applied distressed finish — predominantly black, with warm gold tones showing through at the edges and along the glazing bars. This antiqued patina gives the mirror genuine character, avoiding the flat uniformity of a simple powder-coated frame. Fifteen individual mirror panels sit within the grid, topped by a smaller arched panel that mirrors the outer arch, creating a layered window effect. The glass is clear and un-bevelled, keeping reflections sharp. A plastic sheet backing board protects the rear, and in our experience this construction stands up well to the demands of outdoor placement — though we’d recommend a sheltered position to preserve the finish over time.
Size & Placement
At 160 cm high and 85 cm wide, this is a generous full length arch window mirror that commands attention without overwhelming a wall. The flat bottom edge means it can lean securely against a wall or fence — a versatile option if you’d rather not drill. Outdoors, it works brilliantly mounted on a brick or stone garden wall, catching the sky and foliage to create the illusion of a second view. Indoors, customers tend to pair this with exposed brickwork, dark wood furniture, or pale plaster walls where the black-and-gold frame can really stand out. A hallway, dining room, or large living room are all strong choices. The 4 cm depth keeps the profile slim against the wall, and at 17 kg it has a reassuring solidity without being unmanageable.
Hanging & Installation
The mirror has two keyhole fixings on the back — one on each side — so you simply hook it onto a pair of screws driven into the wall at the correct spacing. Do not use string, wire, or chain to hang this mirror. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included; use fixings appropriate to your wall type (solid masonry, brick, or timber stud). Given the 17 kg weight and large surface area, we recommend a two-person lift when positioning. If you are mounting it on an outdoor wall, ensure the fixings are corrosion-resistant — stainless steel or zinc-plated screws are a sensible choice.
