Built for the garden, equally at home indoors
This white metal wall mirror pairs a gently curved arch silhouette with a slim steel frame, creating a piece that looks just as composed on a garden fence as it does above a console table. A recent addition to our Somerton Collection range, it was chosen for its pared-back profile and weather-ready construction.
Design & Materials
The frame is formed from steel finished in a smooth, clean white powder coat — a finish we can confirm looks consistently glossy and bright in person, as the images show. At roughly 2.5 cm wide, the frame sits close to the glass without competing for attention, letting the arch shape do the talking. The mirror glass is clear and unbevelled, giving a crisp, undistorted reflection. On the reverse, a plastic sheet backing board seals the mirror against moisture and dust — an important detail for any arch wall mirror destined for outdoor use. Overall, the aesthetic is modern and minimal, making it a natural companion for contemporary garden furniture, white-washed walls, or darker tones like the deep blue cladding shown in the product images.
Size & Placement
At 80 cm tall and 40 cm wide, this is a compact mirror that suits spaces where you want a decorative accent without overwhelming the wall. In a garden, we often suggest positioning it at eye level on a fence or sheltered wall — it catches the sky and surrounding greenery beautifully. Indoors, it works well above a narrow hallway table or in a cloakroom where a larger piece would feel crowded. The flat bottom edge means you can also lean it on a shelf or mantelpiece if you prefer not to drill. Weighing 10 kg and measuring just 3.3 cm deep, it sits fairly flush against the wall without protruding noticeably. If you’re after metal garden wall art with a practical reflective element, this white arch mirror bridges the gap between decoration and function neatly.
Hanging & Installation
Two keyhole fixings are fitted to the back, so installation is straightforward: mark your two screw positions, drive in your fixings, and hook the mirror on. No wire or chain is needed — or recommended. Wall screws and rawl plugs are not included, so pick fixings suited to your wall type (masonry anchors for brick, appropriate toggles or anchors for timber fencing). At 10 kg, one person can handle the mirror comfortably, though having a second pair of hands to check alignment is always helpful. For outdoor placement, stainless-steel or weather-resistant screws will help everything stay secure over time.
